Bargaining

April 16 update: We continue to bargain with the District.  We have had a total of 3 meetings and things are progressing well.  We have another meeting set for May.  Since we are still negotiating, we are very limited in what can be disclosed.

March 26 update: Our local will be entering into negotiations with the District this month. We have meetings scheduled over March and April.  We hope that these negotiations will go well as we shall be bargaining in good faith.  We have our monetary and non-monetary agendas created and hope to negotiate the best deal possible for our members.  We will keep you updated on how the negotiations are going in a broad manner as we cannot go into specifics until we reach a final proposal.  We will not be able to give any more specific information via email requests so please keep watching for updates as soon as we receive them.

It is recommended that any members with questions in regards to our continuing difficulties with bargaining and wage increases read "A Thumb on the Scale" to better understand the struggles public sector unions such as ours have when they get to the bargaining table.
